Born out of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of inspiring young people under the age 35 working together to address local, regional and global challenges. With more than 7,000 members, the Global Shapers Community spans 376 city-based hubs ins 156 countries.
In each city, teams of Shapers self-organize to create projects that address the needs of their community. Projects are wide-ranging-from responding to disasters and combating poverty, to fighting climate change and building inclusive, income and race, but are united by their desire to bring about change.
Kinshasa Hub members are passionate about having impact in their society and are experts in their specific fields including energy transition, education, entrepreneurship, telecommunication and politics. We come together to achieve a common vision : make the Kinshasa Hub the plateform connecting change makers in the city and be the voice of youth. Our projects serve our main mission : contribute to youth leadership development, build a strong network of change makers through multiple high value events , and cultivate a positive impact in society through hub’s actions and collaborative work with local associations and NGOs.
