The Global Youth Action Network (GYAN) helps facilitate youth participation and inter-generational partnership in global decision-making; supports collaboration among diverse youth organizations; and provides tools, resources, and recognition for positive youth action. It maintains ECOSOC Consultative Status with the United Nations and shares information among its thousands of member organizations spanning almost 180 countries. Since 2008, GYAN has merged with its partner, TakingITGlobal, a Toronto-based youth organization that hosts the wwwTakingITGlobal.org community and other global projects.
