Glowvista Instruments Pvt. Ltd. is a startup company incubated at the Foundation for Technology and Business Incubation (FTBI), National Institute of Technology Rourkela. The company primarily focuses on developing innovative smart biomedical technologies and instruments, aiming to create cost-effective point-of-care (PoC) devices to promote better healthcare. Our mission is to develop biomedical devices that excel in both analytical and research applications.
Our flagship project is the development of a handheld device designed to quantitatively screen for malaria. This cutting-edge device leverages AI-enabled technology for rapid and accurate detection, integrating optics, optomechanics, microfluidic technology, artificial intelligence, and straightforward electronics. The combination of these advanced technologies enables us to provide a sophisticated yet user-friendly solution for healthcare professionals.
Glowvista Instruments Pvt. Ltd. is a registered company under the guidelines of the Government of India. The company was founded by #Dr. Earu Banoth , with Dr. Bala Chakravarthy and Dr. Puneet Kumar Jain serving as co-founders. Recently, Glowvista received a funding of 50 lakhs from the Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG) by the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) to support our research and product development initiatives.
