Goethe-Institut je celosvetovo pôsobiaca kultúrna inštitúcia Spolkovej republiky Nemecko. Podporujeme výučbu nemeckého jazyka v zahraničí a pestujeme medzinárodnú kultúrnu spoluprácu.
Goetheho inštitút v Bratislave si do budúcich rokov stanovil nasledovné ciele:
podpora integrácie mladej slovenskej kultúrnej scény do európskych sietí,
podpora dialógu a výmeny skúseností s nemeckými a inými európskymi umelcami a tvorcami, pričom ťažisko spočíva v súčasnej kultúre a umení,
udržať a podľa možností posilniť postavenie nemeckého jazyka na Slovensku - predovšetkým v kontexte otvorenia hraníc po rozšírení EU, a
sprístupňovať informácie o Nemecku a o živote v Nemecku v minulosti a v súčasnosti.
Všetky tieto ciele predpokladajú úzku spoluprácu so slovenskými partnerskými organizáciami, v ktorej vidíme základ našej práce.
Das Goethe-Institut ist das weltweit tätige Kulturinstitut der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Wir fördern die Kenntnis der deutschen Sprache im Ausland und pflegen die internationale kulturelle Zusammenarbeit.
Das Goethe-Institut Bratislava hat sich vor allem zum Ziel gesetzt, in den nächsten Jahren
die Integration der jungen slowakischen Kunst- und Kulturszene in das europäische Netzwerk zu unterstützen,
den Dialog und Erfahrungsaustausch mit deutschen und anderen europäischen Künstlern und Kulturschaffenden zu fördern, wobei der Schwerpunkt bei der zeitgenössischen Kultur liegt,
die Stellung der deutschen Sprache in der Slowakei - besonders im Kontext der Öffnung der Grenzen seit der Osterweiterung der EU - zu halten und möglichst auszubauen, und
Informationen über Deutschland und das Leben in Deutschland in Geschichte und Gegenwart zur Verfügung zu stellen.
All diese Ziele setzen eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit slowakischen Partnerorganisationen voraus, in der wir die Basis unserer Arbeit sehen.
