After several years practicing general dentistry in public and private practice Dr David Yong decided to pursue his interest in root canal treatment (Endodontics) by specialising as an endodontist. After studying in Otago for 3 years to obtain a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry he has worked in the Gold Coast, Ipswich, Brisbane and Woolongong as an endodontic specialist.
Gold Coast Endodontics was established in 2024 to allow Dr Yong to focus his energies on the one practice and spend more time with his family on the Gold Coast.

We have the latest in 3D imaging from Carestream, the CS8200 Neo cone beam CT, which has one of the highest resolutions on the market and advanced software to provide more efficient diagnosis of endodontic issues.
We perform all treatments using a Zeiss Pro Ergo surgical operating microscope and low dose Carestream digital sensors for in chair radiographs.
