The Goldspar Group of Companies with its head office in Sydney Australia was formed in August 1979 by Doug Rawson-Harris, a designer and engineer by profession. Goldspar Australia’s core business is to deliver high quality cost effective tubular products to the market using our own in house state of the art production methods. The company in the early days specialized in the design and manufacture of sailing equipment, including yacht masts and booms, later expanding to include flag poles, light poles, sporting posts and other aluminium tubular products. In 1996, Doug Rawson-Harris designed and developed the first Multi-Function light pole system known as the Smartpole. This won him the Australian Design Award for Industrial Design in 1998. It was further developed to become known as Multipole™ and is produced by Fyntrim Pty Ltd, Goldspar’s sister company. In addition the Goldspar Group has developed many accessories for the Multipole plus a complimentary range of street furniture and bus shelters. With our in house design capability as well as our own fabrication and assembly facilities in Sydney, we can provide customers with a flexible package including customized products where customers require special designs. Goldspar has skills in custom fabrication. We work with you to develop your designs or we can create designs to suit the purpose. We certainly can and do supply the expertise in specifications, manufacturing methods, resulting in cost effective solutions. We have the skills and expertise to create an infinite variety of tapers and shapes in tube diameters from 35mm to 250mm.
