While that statement may be so simple, we work hard to benefit our two passions: charity and golf!
Golf Pro Wears came into being at the hands of co-founders Mat Gillis and Robert Huck. Mat, a tenured businessman and investor, and Robert, a well known guitar technician in the music industry, came together over the amazing game of golf and begin to develop what is now Golf Pro Wears.
We knew early on that we wanted to be different from just another clothing reseller, and what better way than helping people? After making this realization, we began partnering up with PGA player charities and thus began the Give Back 9 program. The Give Back 9 program is different from other donation initiatives. Golf Pro Wears donates 9% of every purchase to 7 amazing player charities that benefit causes like autism research, children's hospitals, and many more.
Most companies with similar initiatives would simply add 9% to the cost of every item, that is where GPW is very different. The 9% comes straight from our profits. We tell you this not glorify our efforts but to inform you that we are here to help people and not take advantage.
