Gonima provides patient-centric healthcare digital solutions to fertility clinics & patients. The digital services assist IVF centres in reducing their operational costs and offer advanced experiences to women of reproductive age. The latter ones are now capable of making informed decisions, monitor their treatment progress, access reimbursement opportunities, and reduce time spent on administrative tasks while focusing more on their physical and mental wellbeing. The Treatment Assistant tool assists in the day-to-day communication and exchange of valuable information anywhere-anytime, between the patient and the clinic.
Gonima’s narrative started with Heidi Gargareta, a researcher and designer that during her master thesis identified and mapped the various struggles women confront while trying to conceive and give birth to their own child. After two years of research and development, the Gonima business was launched in 2021 with the expectation to re-invent the fertility experience of women and couples having difficulties to conceive naturally.
Gonima services have been co-developed with patients and clinical personnel to respond to their needs and encourage the adoption of the new practices by all parties.
The Treatment Assistant tool, part of the Gonima ecosystem, is now available to fertility clinics in Greece. Our next steps include the development of a set of partnerships and the establishment of transparent collaborations with other stakeholders to allow the expansion of service offerings in the EU market. Within 2021, we aim to expand our team and establish new partnerships to assist the integration of new informative material according to the specific needs of each customer.
