Good Move Overview

Good Move is a European program aimed at encouraging young people aged 18 to 34 across Europe to adopt healthier lifestyles. This includes promoting increased consumption of fruits and vegetables as well as motivating individuals to be more physically active on a daily basis and reduce sedentary behavior. This three-year campaign, co-financed by the European Union, is led by France with Aprifel (the Agency for Fruit and Vegetable Research and Information), Poland with Fruit Union (the Association of Fruit and Vegetable Distributors), and Spain with Ailimpo (the Interprofessional Association of Lemon and Grapefruit). Our program is primarily based on motivational strategies and is rooted in the theory of small steps: every step is important and should not be too difficult to achieve. GOOD MOVE is based on the transtheoretical model of change by Prochaska and Di Clemente (1982), designed to support behavior change at different stages. Our actions will be tailored according to the stage of motivation our target audience is in. "GOOD MOVE" is not a directive; rather, it encourages individual decision-making. The core of the program revolves around self-improvement, not perfection. It's an invitation to a better approach, not a flawless one; a journey towards becoming a better version of oneself.
