Goose Island was born in 1993 after founder, Karen Hutchings fell in love with the fabrics and colours during her travels to India and the Far East, and completely changed her career to pursue her passion for travel and fashion.
With the head office based in Swansea, South Wales, Goose Island is a family business that has been successfully sourcing, importing and retailing high quality Italian ladies fashion for over twenty years.
Owner Karen Hutchings used her creative talents to transform the rich traditional design heritage of the Far East and Europe into fashionable clothing, many of which are based on the popular Lagan layering look, which was eagerly accepted by UK shoppers.
Today Goose Island is a very well-established wholesale and retail company with over 400 stockists throughout the UK selling Goose Island products plus 4 online sales platforms, together with 2 retail shops in Cowbridge and Mumbles.
Goose Island take great pride in the quality and beauty of their products, constantly updating the ranges to reflect the change in season. They put together two full collections every year with two smaller collections for the transitional period. The fashion styles are sourced and manufactured exclusively in Italy.
