Gorilla Tango Bucktown is a Chicago storefront theater venue that provides co-producing contracts for artists of all kinds. Our business is built on strong partnerships with both Chicago-area and touring artists who seek to produce their work in a sustainable, supported environment. Founded by Dan Abbate in 2006, Gorilla Tango Bucktown is located in the heart of Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood, across from the Western Blue Line stop. Since opening, over 1000 shows from 700 different producers have performed at this location, including productions from Brain Surgeon Theater, Salsation Theatre Group, Jamie Campbell Comedy, and more.
