Created in 1878, Gouverneur Audigier is an eyewear manufacturer located in Morez (Jura, France), the birthplace of eyewear. Originally specializing in flexible braided temples, we are one of the oldest eyewear makers still operating today.
Fully handmade and customizable, our frames come in two collections, Clément Gouverneur and GOUV/AU, which together offer over 100,000 models.
Our collections are distributed by our network of optical partners in France and across 28 countries worldwide. Our GOUV/AU collection is also available for purchase in our online store.
In 2017, Gouverneur Audigier received the "Living Heritage Company", mark of recognition from the French State for excellent craftmanship and industrial expertise.
