GraduatePLUS Initiative has trained and empowered nearly 1,000 graduates in partnership with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). Our vision is to empower fresh graduates with additional tools and skills to reduce unemployment in Nigeria.
At Graduate PLUS Initiative, we utilize totality of skill acquisition and e-learning to upskill graduate to achieve SDG8 with focus on Skill Acquisition, Employability Coaching, Entrepreneurial Mentoring and Networking.
The overall aim of the project is to produce 100,000 highly employable and entrepreneurial-independent graduates by 2025 to reduce unemployment and employability gap in Nigeria.
TARGET BENEFICIARY:
Graduates of Universities, Polytechnics and other institutions who have been mobilized for their one year national service. The project strategically utilize the one year window period of the NYSC.
SCALE AND COST:
We utilize low cost e-learning for our training and mentoring to ensure efficiency, sustainability and ease of scalability to accommodate more graduates as we expand our reach.
