Also known as Great Ife Students' Union, the Students' Union of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, is the leading Students' Union in Nigeria, West Africa. It is made of over 30, 000 matriculated students of Obafemi Awolowo University.
OAU SU is widely noted for its revolutionary feats including but not only holding campaigns, protests against oppressive rule and undemocratic leanings. The Union is socialist in nature; it stands against all forms of social vices.
Past officers of the Union include but not only human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN); Governors Rotimi Akeredolu, Kayode Fayemi.
