Greater Manchester Cyber Foundry was a partnership of four North West universities: Lancaster University, The University of Manchester, University of Salford, and Manchester Metropolitan University.
We worked together to offer a business support programme for small to medium-sized (SMEs) businesses, in any sector, across Greater Manchester.
The programme focused on using cyber security as a tool to help small businesses innovate and grow. It was designed to help SMEs strengthen their cyber defences, build resilience, and protect their operations and assets.
Participants on the programme attended workshops and completed a series of online learning modules. Topics included Business Model Canvas, Cyber Essentials, and Absorptive Capacity Analysis.
The Greater Manchester Cyber Foundry is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and, for eligible SMEs, there isn't a cost for our business support.
