The Greater Texarkana Young Professionals (GTYP) mission is to promote the retention, education, and growth of diverse young professionals in the Texarkana Region through professional and social immersion.
Founded in 2013, GTYP believes its members’ growth and development can play a critical role in the success of the Texarkana community and future. Through our shared relationships we enhance our impact.
WHO CAN BE A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL?
Membership in GTYP is available to anyone that meets the following criteria:
Young at Heart (Everyone is welcome; but leadership positions are held by individuals age 21-40)
Professional Attitude & Behavior
Ability to Lead
Overall Positive Attitude
BENEFITS OF JOINING
Members of GTYP gain access to the number of events and social gathering put on each year by this group. You gain access to a social circle of like minded young professionals working to be not just tomorrow's leaders of Texarkana, but today's leaders. Additionally you gain access to the sub-committees that come together to influence the future of GTYP and in turn influence Texarkana as a whole. In addition you get access to the members area on our website, always being developed with important information and tools for doing business in Texarkana.
