The Green Building Association has been formed at the initiative of several companies from North Macedonia, with the primary goal of promoting green construction practices within the industry. This initiative is particularly important in the construction sector, which happens to be the largest emitter of CO2. The association adheres to all the recommendations set forth by international organizations and, for the first time, seeks to exert pressure on the Macedonian economy to encourage greater attention to environmental conservation, especially the preservation of natural renewable resources.
