The Green Expertise Council (GEC) is a non-profit organization that promotes green expertise across the government, business, and workforce sectors, at both the micro and macro levels, to build a sustainable green economy globally.
GEC envisions a platform that could function as an inclusive green ecosystem to address asymmetric information, empowering employees and employers through a structured sharing of knowledge and fostering a universally high standard of environmental stewardship – a vision that served as the seed from which GEC would sprout.
GEC began with a systematic convergence of expertise, environmental urgency, and strategic leadership, spearheaded by the council board members, whose careers are deeply rooted in promoting green technologies and sustainable business practices at the global level, and have, notably, identified that a significant gap exists in the markets — a lack of a cohesive, expert-led approach to environmental advocacy and education.
