It takes courage to start working with a new therapist. The very fact that you’re considering it probably means you’re getting ready to make some significant changes in your life. At Green Psychotherapy, PC, we focus on understanding and accepting you as you are right now, and creating a safe space where you can figure out where you want to go from here. We’ll also work together as you get ready to make the sometimes tough (and rewarding) changes that will give you a better life.
We'll meet in a traditional therapy office, and when it's helpful, we'll also explore ways you can experience a greater sense of serenity and fulfillment by spending a little time in nature—right in your own neighborhood. It can be hard to make time in your hectic life to do this, and I can offer suggestions that are designed for busy urban environments.
Through psychotherapy, clients can gain a better understanding and mastery of specific problems they face—such as depression, anxiety, and difficult relationships. Equally important, psychotherapy helps people get clear about their own vision for a better future, while offering concrete guidance and support to move ahead.
