Slovenian Green Urban Infrastructure Association is educational organisation combining professionals that are supporting development and promotion of green urban infrastructure in the territory of Slovenia. We combine architects, developers, green roof & wall entrepreneurs and other specialists and organisations with an interest in green roofs, green facades and other urban green infrastructure elements. Our key purpose is to work with local authorities on national as well as municipal level and other partners to explain, promote and support green urban infrastructure strategic planning and delivery. Our brother purpose is to provide a comprehensive overview of the urban green infrastructure concepts and other relevant information to key stakeholders. We will be a driving element to push green urban infrastructure planning in order to develop resilient urban green infrastructure and guide the development of Slovenian cities towards livable cities through the process of re-vegetating urban areas and in this way bringing benefits for nature, people and economy. Gospodarsko Interesno Združenje Ozelenjena Urbana Infrastruktura združuje strokovnjake, ki podpirajo razvoj ozelenjene urbane infrastrukture na področju Republike Slovenije. Združujemo arhitekte, podjetnike, inovatorje ter druge strokovnjake in organizacije, ki jih zanimajo zelene strehe, ozelenjene fasade in drugi elementi ozelenjene urbane infrastrukture. Naš glavni namen je sodelovanje z lokalnimi odločevalci na nacionalni in lokalni ravni ter s tem spodbujati in usmerjati strateško načrtovanje ozelenjene urbane infrastrukture in njeno udejanjanje v praksi. Ključnim deležnikom želimo zagotoviti celovit pregled konceptov za urbane ozelenitve in biti gonilni dejavnik pri spodbujanje načrtovanja ozelenjene urbane infrastrukture. Želimo usmerjati razvoj slovenskih mest s poudarkom na širjenju ozelenitev v strogih mestnih središčih kar prinaša pozitivne koristi za naravo, ljudi in gospodarstvo.
