CATA Overview

Fundada em 1962 em Belém do Pará, a CATA nasceu com o intuito de entrar no mercado têxtil. Guiada pela política de sempre entregar produtos com a máxima qualidade dentro dos prazos pactuados, a empresa nunca parou de crescer, levando ao surgimento da CATE em 1977. Em 1984, a CATA deu mais um passo grandioso na sua história, criando a primeira fábrica fora da região Norte, situada do Polo Petroquímico de Salvador. A expansão da empresa deu margem para iniciativas ainda maiores, que se materializaram por meio da CATA TT e da Recicata. Hoje, todas elas formam a CATA TECIDOS E EMBALAGENS INDUSTRIAIS. Atualmente, o grupo emprega mais de 1500 colaboradores em duas fábricas, que seguem padrões internacionais de qualidade e confiabilidade e produzem um dos mais diversificados portfólios de produtos do ramo têxtil brasileiro. Por esses motivos, dentro do seu setor, a CATA é considerada uma das maiores e mais respeitadas empresas do país.
