GRUR International (Oxford University Press & C. H. Beck)

Launched in 1952 under the name of ‘Auslands- und internationaler Teil von Gewerblicher Rechtsschutz und Urheberrecht’, GRUR International has been for the last decades an international reference in the fields of IP and Competition Law. GRUR International is a monthly, peer-reviewed journal under the academic responsibility of the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition. It transitioned from a German to English-language publication in 2020. From 2023, GRUR International is exclusively published on behalf of GRUR (the German Association for IP Law) by Oxford University Press, licensing to C. H. Beck. The journal deals scientifically with the fields of IP and Competition Law as well as the areas related to them. This includes, for instance, patent law, utility model law, copyright and neighbouring rights, publishing law, trademark law, design law, competition law, antitrust law, the law of personality, and certain aspects of food law, advertising law, media law, general civil law and procedural law. Concentrating on a methodological and systematic approach, the journal focuses on: - Peer-reviewed articles - Translations of non-English decisions from jurisdictions worldwide - Case notes - Opinions - Reports - Book reviews The journal is specifically designed for scholars specialising in IP law, IP lawyers and patent attorneys both in private practice and in the industry. It is also an essential source of reference for members of the judiciary, officials in IP offices and regulatory bodies, and institutional libraries.
