We are a furniture restoration and upholstery studio, based near the Glasgow School of Art in Glasgow, Scotland. Our exceptional, skilled craftspeople work to exacting standards, using traditional tools and techniques to expertly breathe life back into your heirlooms and to preserve our rich heritage of furniture pieces for future generations.
We restore furniture commissions for a diverse range of clients including individual pieces of sentimental value, pieces for interior designers and entire country houses full of neglected furniture needing care and attention.
Because we are able to rebuild furniture from the frame up, every piece of upholstery becomes a truly bespoke piece made entirely to the client’s specification. Clients can choose the webbing, stuffing and calico used inside the piece as well as the feathers, down or hair in the cushion. Choosing fabric from our extensive range, curated from the finest fabric manufacturers in Scotland, and around the world, adding trim and studs for a dash of flair, is one of the highlights of the experience.
We have the expertise to source rare and beautiful pieces of furniture which we painstakingly restore and offer for sale. The ultimate in recycling, a piece with a missing leg and its stuffing hanging out, can be utterly transformed. Covered in Venetian velvet or Italian embroideries with trim from Paris and studs from England, it becomes a stunning feature piece to compliment any interior.
Additionally, we sell wallpapers and offer a curtain and Roman blind making service and make cushions, bed heads and soft furnishings.
