Gulf Coast Mensa is the Greater Houston/Texas Gulf Coast area chapter of American Mensa, Ltd. We are a Local Group of Region 6 (the southwest region of the US), and encompass southeast Texas, extending from Huntsville in the north to Goliad in the south and over to the Louisiana state line in the east. Founded in 1965 and boasting over 1100 members, Gulf Coast Mensa is the seventh largest local chapter in the country.
