GVA, filiale du groupe Vivendi, est un opérateur télécom spécialisé dans la fourniture d’accès internet Très Haut Débit en Afrique. GVA construit son propre réseau en fibre optique et investit à long terme, concrétisant ainsi sa vision en faveur du développement numérique. GVA a lancé ses activités à Libreville (Gabon) en 2017, à Lomé (Togo) en 2018, à Pointe Noire (République du Congo) en 2019, à Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire), à Kigali (Rwanda) en 2020, à Brazzaville (République du Congo), à Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso), à Kinshasa (République Démocratique du Congo) en 2021 et enfin à Kampala en 2024. Dans chaque ville, GVA a contribué à la création de plusieurs milliers d’emplois locaux ainsi qu’à la professionnalisation des filières d’avenir pour les métiers de l’ingénierie, du numérique et de la distribution.
