The GVI Foundation was created to enable participants to amplify their impact on GVI’s meaningful social and environmental projects worldwide. Through awareness campaigns, donations and fundraising initiatives, together we’re able to accomplish more.
Whether it's increasing educational support in Nepal by funding reading materials and desks or providing science training for park rangers in Seychelles, your contributions improve project reach and impact.
The Foundation was established in 2005 after Hurricane Stan struck Guatemala, when a group of GVI alumni recognized the urgent need to provide more resources to the communities and protected areas where they had volunteered.
Over the years we have established community centres and sports facilities, raised funds for drought and earthquake relief, fundraised for anti-poaching and game tracking, and more.
