H-Mix Limited is a growing ready mixed concrete manufacturing business, based at the former Rio Tinto Alcan Lynemouth aluminium smelter site, in South East Northumberland. The company was formed in August 2014 and activity on the first project commenced in earnest in December 2014. Planning permission was granted in late February 2015 and following a demolition phase, civil engineering works and subsequent build of its first manufacturing facility. H – Mix started its production mid-May 2015.
