Habitat for Humanity Regina exists because of the need for affordable housing in our community. We work to mobilize volunteers, organizations, corporations and the community, to support homeownership opportunities for low income families. The Habitat program provides families in Regina the opportunity to purchase a home at fair-market value with an interest free, zero downpayment mortgage that is set at 25% of their gross annual income.
The Regina ReStore accepts donations of new and gently used household items, building supplies, construction materials, and other household goods. Those items are then inspected, cleaned and made ready for the floor. The proceeds from these sales go to fund Habitat for Humanity Regina's administration function, so that when you donate to Habitat, your donation goes directly to building homes for local, low income families.
