Hacienda Packing

Hacienda Packing was established in 1945 in Chimayo, New Mexico, and currently operates as a produce wholesaler in Albuquerque. Hacienda Packing sells a variety of produce including avocados, citrus, jalapeño peppers, squash, tomatoes, onions, and potatoes. Hacienda Packing specializes in the sourcing, packing, and distribution of a variety of potatoes including russets, sweet potatoes, fingerlings, yukon golds, and red potatoes. Over more than 75 years of operations, Hacienda Packing has established itself firmly as the largest wholesaler of potatoes in New Mexico. Hacienda Packing is strategically located in Albuquerque, New Mexico in close proximity to many of its largest food service and grocery customers. Hacienda Packing sources the highest quality produce available, the majority of which comes from the potato farming community of Monte Vista, Colorado. The high plains valley of Monte Vista cultivates over 76,000 acres of potatoes and produces more than 23.8 million hundred-weight of potatoes annually. Hacienda Packing sources approximately 200,000 hundred-weight of russet potatoes annually from Monte Vista’s farmers for distribution in New Mexico and El Paso, Texas.
