Hagecrew ble opprette i 2016 som en ideell barn- og ungdomsforening, med formål om å bringe urban dyrking til den oppvoksende generasjon. Opptakten til foreningen startet som et prosjekt i CREWS allerede i 2013, og de siste 6 årene har vi ansatt 160 ungdommer, og aktivisert over 450 barn og unge innen ulike former for dyrking. Hagecrew har også designet egne dyrkekasser for urbane områder. Disse kommer i forskjellige størrelser og bygges med gjenbrukte materialer.
Vi vil skape en kultur for bærekraftig entusiasme, involvere store og små, for at vi sammen skal finne løsninger og muligheter på de mange utfordringene vi står ovenfor.
