Hallmark finance is a family owned and operated business. Father and son team Peter & Damien, along with Peter’s wife Joanne, evolved the business out of Hallmark Business Sales, which was founded and run by Peter for over 20 years.
After the Global Financial Crisis, dealing with banks and major lenders became difficult so the team decided to be more pro-active in arranging finance for our customers, since between the three owners there was nearly 40 years of experience in the banking finance industry.
The company started as a vehicle and equipment financier, given its brother company in Sydney was almost $60m per annum in that market. Hallmark has grown steadily and quickly. It became obvious Hallmark’s customers had other finance needs so Hallmark expanded their scope to include home loans as well. Damien has experience going back 15 years in the origination and securitisation of home loans in NSW and Queensland.
