The decision to consolidate the two brands stemmed from the natural evolution of the firms’ business interests which became significantly aligned.
Hanson Green was acquired by Directorbank in 2008 and since then its client base expanded out from the FTSE to encompass AIM, Small Cap and privately-owned sectors. Additionally, its service offering widened beyond NED assignments to include Chairman and executive roles.
Directorbank’s client base also evolved from private equity to include the full spectrum of SME businesses looking to access high calibre entrepreneurial candidates to drive growth and change.
With such overlap it made strategic sense to bring the two companies together as one holistic team with a united mission. The result is a single clear brand with a stronger proposition. Greater efficiencies have been achieved across the business enabling wider market reach, deeper networks and shared expertise.
