A voluntary organisation working with senior citizen groups since 2003.
Over the years Harikrit has partnered with various government and non-government agencies to garner support for the senior citizens.
The team reaches out to a large number of elderly citizens to act as a catalyst for change in bridging the gap between generations with the aim to ensure a respectful and comfortable old age life.
We started this movement by launching a newspaper exclusively for the elders.
Encouraged by the response we received for the paper from all walks of life, we launched the first edition of Saanjhi Saanjh Awards – a platform to recognise, support and felicitate our seniors who are still maintaining an active lifestyle.
Saanjhi Saanjh Newspaper and Awards is just our initial step in the direction of building a safe and loving environment for the elderly.
In the near future, Harikrit plans to come up with many more community building programs and activities.
