Our projects are aimed at the entire Gambian community. However, we advocate starting all these changes from childhood, which is why our main work is aimed at them, providing them with the possibility of entering the educational system and above all, preserving their continuity in it. We believe that in order to achieve this, it is essential to create a solid structure with the Gambian members who collaborate with Harit Gambia, and that these children are increasingly accompanied by adults who feel, believe and want change. It is essential to make them see that all children should go to school and have a quality education, that families have the right to be able to work and have a decent job, that basic health care must be present and that all this can be achieved in community and by believing in it. It is of vital importance to Harit Gambia that they believe in change and that it will come from them.
Harit Gambia wants to be and encourage this transformation that is needed in many African towns and villages where there is an established consciousness of inferiority, which every day is postponed from the other side of the world. Cooperative work, learning and the right tools are what we offer them.
