Harsha de Silva is Member of Parliament from Colombo and Former Minister of Economic Reform and Public Distribution of the Government of Sri Lanka. An economist by training, Harsha’s objective in politics is to help create a prosperous nation where all citizens enjoy the same rights and privileges. His most satisfying achievement thus far has been founding the much loved '1990 Suwa Seriya' nation-wide pre-hospital care ambulance service. Harsha has a PhD in economics from the University of Missouri and has had executive training at both MIT and Harvard. He is married with two children and lives in Colombo.
