Harvard Forward Overview

Harvard is falling behind in its response to the climate crisis because our governance is not representative of our alumni and students. We're changing that. Harvard Forward is a coalition of alumni, students, and faculty aiming to address both the symptoms and the causes of Harvard's insufficient response to the climate crisis and its failure to invest its endowment responsibly. By electing our candidates to the Board of Overseers, Harvard alumni will send a clear message: in order to prepare for the challenges of tomorrow, Harvard must act boldly to lead in the fight against climate change, make its governance more inclusive, and abide by responsible investment practices that live up to the University's ideals. From incorporating recent alumni into the Board to fossil fuel divestment and beyond, our platform clearly delineates our positions and offers policy proposals to achieve them.
