Haventus is an energy transition facilities provider, offering pivotal infrastructure for the offshore wind industry. Our first facility is under development at Ardersier Port, located near Inverness in Scotland. The site is on the Moray Firth, a prime location to serve the offshore wind market. Ardersier Energy Transition Facility will provide Scotland’s largest facility on the North Sea coast for deploying and servicing offshore wind installations.
The 450-acre site is accessed via an initial >650 metres of quay, with a further 1 kilometre of quay development forming the centrepiece of the site’s future expansion. The facility will be key to deploying offshore wind projects over the next decade and an important enabler to Scotland achieving net zero by 2045.
Ardersier Energy Transition Facility is a designated tax site within the Inverness and Cromarty Firth Green Freeport area. This status unlocks various tax and customs incentives and benefits for businesses establishing facilities in the Green Freeport area.
