We deliver the solution to hand-arm vibration monitoring for operator and employer. Established in 2006 our unique dosimetry based solution is the only system to measure actual vibration received by operators. The concept which led to the development of the HAVSense product germinated back in 2000. This was when the EU was developing the ‘Physical Agents’ Directive. This Directive included vibration as a potential health hazard that needed to be ‘controlled’. At that time, no realistic technology was available that could provide vibration monitoring of the hand. So the initial work focussed on the investigation of several cutting edge technologies that may have been capable of providing a solution. This research work was awarded a prestigious DTI Smart award and resulted in the identification of the methodology used in the Dosimeters today. Over a decade of further development work led to the launch of the unique HAVSense system, the only system that actually measures the vibration transmitted to the hand of the operator and which can assess and calculate HSE points and provide visual warnings and a full second by second record of the dosage.
