Haystack Hostels in a new, innovative hostel company based in Edinburgh. We aim to provide upmarket, affordable accommodation, in a comfortable and social atmosphere. We have set up Haystack with the modern day traveller in mind. After years of backpacking and industry experience, we understand that most hostel accommodation doesn't meet the needs of todays backpackers, and so we aim to offer everything one could need in order to make the most of their trips.
We took over our first hostel in Edinburgh in June 2017. In December 2017, we refurbished the old hostel, updating all amenities and making it a more comfortable and functional place to stay. lt is situated in one of the best locations in the city, right next to Waverley Station and the bus station. It is ideal for solo backpackers who need the perfect location to explore Edinburgh, local advice and knowledge from our superb staff and the opportunity to meet other, like minded travellers. The feedback has been incredible and a perfect flagship venue for Haystack Hostels.
