The HAYWARD MAGIC SERIES, presented by the Warsaw Sports Marketing Center at the University of Oregon, is a group of students and industry advisors dedicated to welcoming the campus community to Hayward Field for a historic 2022 Track and Field Season which culminates with the World Athletics Championships in July.
HAYWARD MAGIC SERIES events will include professional aspects, such as sports business speakers from UO’s very own world-class Warsaw Sports Marketing Center, as well as festivals, music, and interactive experiences. At our first event, the inaugural HAYWARD FIELD DAY, we provided an electric track & field experience to 700 students and community members following the conclusion of the Hayward Premiere meet.
This is a special moment in Eugene’s history and inflection point its future. 2022 marks the inaugural season for the newly renovated Hayward Field and culminates with the World Athletics Championships in July, the first-ever world Track and Field Championships held on U.S. soil. The HAYWARD MAGIC SERIES aims to enhance this moment by adding unique elements to each Oregon Track and Field meet this spring season in the lead to Eugene welcoming the world to Track Town USA.
