Home and Community Care Ireland (HCCI) is the national representative body for home care providers in Ireland. It includes 32 members across the country, who between them employ over 10,000 frontline care staff and provide medical and non-medical support to more than 20,000 clients. Most of these clients are older people, though a significant volume of care is also provided to people with disabilities and those with complex needs.
The mission of HCCI is to advocate for, and represent, a unified professional home care service in Ireland to enable independent living at home. HCCI does that through representation, leadership, good governance and enforcement of HCCI standards.
We welcome to membership companies who Garda vet, train, insure, manage and supervise their home carers, thus ensuring the highest standard of care for their clients.
