Head and neck cancer often affects the very functions that make us who we are: appearance, speech, and eating. It can be an isolating cancer.
Head and Neck Cancer Support Aotearoa (HNCSA) is the only national charity dedicated to providing education and support to head and neck cancer patients and their whanau.
The charity was launched in 2020 by a team of those who had been affected by HNC, either as a patient or whanau member. We remain committed to working collaboratively with all Head and Neck Cancer specialties, patients, and whanau across Aotearoa to achieve our mission.
HNCSA provides evidence-based information on current treatments and problems head and neck cancer patients endure. But most importantly, we provide peer-to-peer emotional support to make sure no one needs to face the harsh treatment alone.
