Non-communicable diseases account for 70% of every death globally, and their prevalence is more in low and middle-income countries, including Nigeria and other African countries.
Health Accelerator Africa is committed to reducing death caused by non-communicable diseases and building leaders to solve health's most pressing challenges in Nigeria and Africa.
VISION
To reduce the burden of NCDs in Nigeria and Africa.
MISSION
To promote NCDs literacy and reduce its burden through training, community-based programs, alliance formation, research, and innovation.
OUR AIMS
1. Raise awareness and educate the masses about non-communicable diseases and their risk factors, including physical inactivity, tobacco use, alcohol use, and unhealthy diet and promote healthy living.
2. Deploy community-based early diagnoses and intervention approach through outreaches and other community programs
3. Train and empower leaders across Africa to solve health most pressing challenges in their local communities
4. Promote research and innovation targeted at addressing non-communicable diseases challenges and their risk factors
