HealthImpact is California’s nursing workforce and policy center, dedicated to strengthening the nursing profession and advancing health equity through strategic partnerships, education, research, and innovation.
We operate at the intersection of policy, practice, and academia to build a robust, diverse, and well-prepared nursing workforce. Our work spans workforce development, nursing education transformation, leadership and mentorship, diversity and equity in healthcare, and the advancement of simulation and innovation in clinical learning environments.
Through initiatives such as the Benner Institute for Teaching and Learning, the HealthImpact Mentors program, and collaborations with state and national partners, we support nurses at every stage of their careers, from students and new graduates to experienced professionals. Our goal is to ensure that all nurses are equipped, empowered, and prepared to lead and deliver quality care in an evolving healthcare landscape.
