Our first product from this platform technology is a heart valve for surgical use that is precisely designed to fit the body's shape.
Our fully-functional valve doesn't contain any cells but quickly triggers the formation of new tissues involving important cell types, the supportive material around cells, and control elements like nerves and hormones.
This process works because of the special materials we used, the design of the scaffold, and its ability to dynamically shape how tissues develop.
