We are a research group at Goethe University in Frankfurt that studies the comorbidity of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and vascular dysfunction (Stroke) at the Neurovascular Unit. In this context, we are particularly interested in the role of brain vascular pericytes. To answer our exciting research questions we make use of state of the art techniques like 2- Photon imaging, RNA- Seq and different cell culture approaches. For more information visit our website.
