The Miracle League of Helena is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Helena, Alabama whose mission is to provide barrier-free access to baseball and playground facilities for children and adults with special needs, residing in Jefferson, Shelby and surrounding counties. The City of Helena has granted the land and now we are in the process of raising funds in order to build the custom, cushioned synthetic turf playing field. This specialty-surface field will accommodate athletes of all abilities and their use of any mobility assistive devices and equipment. The total project is estimated at almost $700,000. Our year one goal of $250,000 allows us to break ground on this life-changing facility!
