Imagine building a bridge over language and cultural barriers. A wealth of potential made accessible through communication; by simply connecting and creating an honest conversation with Chinese people.

HelloChina is a social network based on Wechat, connecting China to the world, giving people access to local knowledge and networks and to a platform to discover other cultures. We are creating a questions platform through which foreigners can ask Chinese locals about history, music, art , culture or about practical questions, like where to find the best restaurants or job offers. Conversely, Chinese people can ask the same questions to foreigners. It’s a 2 way street. we also organize activities that bring Chinese and foreigners together around various topics, building relationships and networks.
Financed by seed capital won at a Chinese national startup competition, we created a community of over 3000 people across the country, that connected through the beta versions of our HelloChina Q&A platform for Wechat, iOS and Android and through the dozens of live events that we organized.
