The Hellweg-Gymnasium is a public high school of the city of Bochum in the Wattenscheid district. Furthermore, it is certified as a sports school of the state of North Rhine-Westhalia, as well as a Europa-School. Besides the certified sports-classes with special focuses on physical education, it also offers a bilingual German-English stream. Because of its year-long activity as Europa-School, the Hellweg-Gymnasium can look back on successfull cooperations with european partners as part of Erasmus+ and former COMENIUS projects.
