Help - Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V. is a German based international humanitarian non-governmental organisation. It was established in 1981 and works in 24 countries throughout the world with a portfolio that includes humanitarian aid, rehabilitation and development.
Help has been working in the Western Balkans since the 1990s and has a strong presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia. In 2020 Help established a mission in Albania.
Help in Albania aims work on income-generation and local economic development programmes which will support:
- improve living conditions of vulnerable groups
- decrease of unemployment rate
- create a positive environment for entrepreneurship development
- work towards the sustainable integration of socially vulnerable groups.
